The Indian Army has confirmed that a media briefing will take place at 10 AM today, Wednesday, to provide information about the missile strikes carried out inside Pakistan under Operation Sindoor. The Ministry of Defence has confirmed that earlier today, the Indian Armed Forces initiated Operation Sindoor, striking nine (9) key locations across Pakistan and PoK. These are the same locations from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and coordinated. The Ministry further stated that the operation was precise and non-aggressive in nature, ensuring that no Pakistani military facility was targeted.
India exercised great restraint in selecting the targets and in the execution of the operation. These actions were carried out as a retaliation to the ruthless terror attack in Pahalgam, which resulted in the loss of 25 Indian lives and one Nepali national.
